Carrie,I remember these days with our Ethan. It is the scariest thing ever to have to go through. Ethan would do the same thing, minus the food because we never go to solids. All you can do is try and stay calm (which is VERY hard to do I know)and just try to remember what needs to be done. The first time this happened, I was in Topeka visiting my family and Darren was 3-4hrs away hunting. I had to do CPR and we had to call 911 as well. I did the same you did, remained calm as long as I could but as soon as Darren got to the hospital, I lost it. Continuing being the strong person you are and you'll get Hannah through the hardest situations. I don't know if you and Robert have already done this, but a refresher CPR course wouldn't be a bad idea. It's scary to think about needing it, but its best to be prepared. Best wishes and remember that we're all praying for you and Hannah!

OMG Carrie how scary for you and also Ethan and ABBY! I cannot imagine just how horrifying it must be to watch your child go thru that, but I am so glad that she is o.k. How awful for her to go thru something like that, of cos she is gonna panick, poor baby! I wish with all my heart that she doesnt have to go thru that again, it just isnt fair she is only a baby and for her siblings to watch this it must be so awful for them, I feel for them also.

You did the right thing trying to be calm, as hard as that must have been for you. Once again Carrie you are an amazing mom, keep up the good work and you are always in our prayers!!

You are always in my thoughts. Give that little girl a big hug and remain as strong as you always have been. Children are amazing, and siblings of special needs kiddos are even more so. Ethan and Abby will adapt and just remember that all of this will help them grow into even more loving and amazing young adults. You are doing a fantastic job as mom!

I am *SO* glad that Hannah is back to normal. I hope Abby and Ethan are okay now too. That must've been so scary and nerve wrecking! If it is seizure-related, maybe Hannah'll respond to some kind of AED?

PS - Happy belated thanksgiving!
